Editorial Policy
This page explains how we produce what you read, how we test casinos, how we score them, how we handle money, and how we correct mistakes. If our reviews are going to be worth trusting, you deserve to know exactly what’s behind them.
We test before we write
Every casino we rank is one we’ve actually used.
That means creating a real account, completing ID verification, playing across the game library, and — the step most sites skip — requesting a genuine redemption and timing how long it takes to arrive. Although bonuses is an important feature to many players, a generous bonus can’t rescue a low score on payouts. We’d rather send you to a modest platform that pays reliably than a flashy one that doesn’t.
A casino we haven’t been able to test doesn’t get a score; at most, it gets a clearly labeled “not yet reviewed” note. If the casino has no such note and no review, it means that we have finished the review process and are currently working on writing the review. It is not untested; it has been approved by our team and met our strict requirements, but the writing can take a bit longer to finish.
Our authors
Everything here is written by named people rather than anonymous filler.
Each member of our team has many years of experience with sweepstakes, either working in the iGaming industry or by simply playing and gaining a high level of experience. One or more team members check each article before it is published to ensure the original writer hasn’t missed anything.
You can see who wrote each piece at the top of the article. You can learn more about our team and mission on our About Us page.
How we score
We rate every platform against the same five criteria, weighted toward the things that actually affect you. We cover this and more in depth in every sweeps casino review we create.
Payout reliability
Speed, consistency across repeat attempts, redemption minimums, and how much friction verification adds. This carries the most weight of anything we measure. Being able to receive the hard-earned cash prizes consistently is one of the most important features of an online sweeps site.
Free-entry clarity
We check if the no-purchase route genuinely works and is easy to find, rather than buried in dense terms. We hate jumping through hoops just to get a few minutes of extra playtime.
Games and experience
We take a close look at the depth and quality of the library, which studios supply it, and whether the platform actually works well on desktop and mobile. It doesn’t help if they get a full score on every other criterion if their games are boring.
Fairness
We look for evidence of independent testing and transparently published rules and odds. The games must be verifiably fair.
Player protection
Responsible gambling tools, like deposit limits, cooling-off periods, and self-exclusion, are important features to ensure the play session doesn’t go overboard. Furthermore, we check whether KYC and age verification are meaningful or trivially bypassed, as the latter is a strong indicator of a rogue site.
Money never moves a score
We earn affiliate commissions, and we disclose that openly on every page carrying them. Read more about this in our affiliate disclosure. It has no bearing on our ratings. No operator can pay for a higher ranking, a removed criticism, or a hidden competitor.
The clearest proof is in the reviews themselves, which routinely include slow payouts, high minimums, and outright “look elsewhere” verdicts on platforms we could have earned from. We also don’t accept paid guest posts or sponsored reviews. All the content on this page is created by our team and created with the readers’ interest in mind.
Accuracy and sourcing
We state facts we can stand behind. Where we cite figures, research, or an operator’s terms, we point to primary sources rather than repeating what other affiliate sites have written. When something is genuinely contested, we say so rather than pretending it’s settled.
Ratings and rankings are our editorial judgment based on that testing. They’re opinions, not statements of fact, and your experience with a platform may differ from ours.
We want to note that nothing on this website should be considered to be legal, tax, or financial advice. The content is meant for adults 18+ or 21+, depending on their state. Our disclaimer covers this more thouroghly.
Keeping it current
This sector changes fast. Operators exit markets, bonuses shift, and payout processes break without warning.
As a result, every page carries a named author and a last-updated date, and we revisit reviews on a rolling basis as well as immediately whenever something material changes. All this requires manual checks and takes time. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all content is 100% accurate at all times. While we strive to keep everything as accurate as possible, it’s not humanly possible to do so.

We’d genuinely rather hear it than leave a stale page up. We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do, we fix them promptly and visibly rather than quietly, noting what changed and when.
